Netflix continues its aggressive push into Chinese-language programming with an ambitious production currently underway in Taiwan. The streaming giant's debut Mandarin original series, Nowhere Man, represents a significant milestone in the platform's regional content strategy.




The production recently marked a pivotal moment as filming began on the prison sequences this past Friday. To commemorate the occasion, Netflix organized an exclusive press event featuring the show's principal male cast members: Joseph Chang, Bo-chieh Wang, and Zhou Ming-fu.



During the gathering, the trio discussed their intensive preparation for portraying incarcerated characters. Beyond rigorous physical conditioning and specialized training, the actors revealed they've been conducting private script reading sessions to deepen their understanding of the material.



Chang shared an amusing behind-the-scenes detail about their rehearsal process, explaining how the script's liberal use of profanity frequently sent them into fits of laughter during preparation.
